I have added several new Powerpoint presentations to our site. They can be accessed from the pull-down tab at the top of the homepage: College Classes>Learning Materials>Presentations; or from the Presentations area in the Users Manuals/Downloads section.
For learning about (or instructing) sound recording for film & video, there are 3 new presentations intended to accompany live lecture explaining the operation of the Marantz PMD660 2-track digital recorder, the Zoom H4n 2/4-track digital recorder, and the classic Mackie 1402 mixing panel.
For learning about (or instructing) introduction to basic filmmaking, I have also posted a series of presentations that are shared by faculty at California State University Northridge who teach their CTVA 250 course. These presentations (which I did NOT create nor take credit for) cover various introductory topics found in most 16mm introductory curricula. Topics include: slating, lighting, sound editing, lenses, light meters, film system, film cameras, film editing.
