California State University, Northridge - SCHOLARSHIPS FOR SPRING SEMESTER 2012
Phi Delta Theta, an international men’s fraternity, will be awarding scholarships to undergraduate men at California State University, Northridge during the spring semester of 2012. This series of scholarships will consist of five individual $500 scholarships.
All male CSUN students who are not members of the Social Fraternity community are eligible, including incoming freshmen and transfer students. Applicants will be evaluated based upon the combination of academic performance, involvement in student organizations, and other campus activities (including athletics, service related activities, residence hall positions, departmental tutor positions, student affairs, etc.). For incoming freshmen and transfer students, academic performance during high school along with high school activities and athletics will be evaluated. Applications for the Spring Semester 2012 Scholarship Series should be submitted online at phide.lt/xP9NJf Final deadline for applications is Friday March 16th 2012
Applicants considered to be the most qualified will be invited to personal interviews at their earliest convenience. Interviews will be conducted on the California State University, Northridge campus. Recipients will be announced and scholarships awarded early during the 2012 Spring Semester.
Phi Delta Theta was founded in 1848 at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and now has chapters and colonies at over 175 universities in the United States and internationally with over 237,000 members including undergraduates and alumni. To further the organization’s goal of giving back to the universities and communities where we have been educated, have lived, and had a presence, the Phi Delta Theta Foundation awards over $250,000 annually in scholarships to men who are considered to exemplify the values of academic performance, service, and involvement in the campus activities of their university.
