The topics for this week are: Recording Priorities of the Mixer; and Hierarchy of Mic Techniques.
Read the articles, and try to read some of the other articles in the list as well.

The following week we will learn about mixing panels, specifically the Mackie 1402. The weeks after that, we will shoot our first video scenes (Airport) using the soundcart, mixing board, condenser mic, planted mic, duplex boom cable, sound reports, etc. For those scenes, it will be a "video channel" with our audio recorded directly to the camcorder.
