Next two weeks, we will begin shooting video scenes so that all of our lectures so far come together and you get your first real feel for production sound mixing. Read the "Exercises" synopsis of the AIRPORT skit. For those scenes, we will deploy a 3-person sound crew, a camera operator and AC, a Director and AD, 3x talent, and BG extras. We will NOT light the set. First we will do a long "walk & talk" boomed dialogue. Later, we will up the ante and add a hidden planted mic.

Remember to bring your professional headphones for the shoot. Don't forget the 1/4-inch stereo tip that came with your headphones!

Also, everyone in the class should create a "cheat sheet" for the Header ID. Write it down on a 3x5 card or similar notepad.
