Tuesday.... Pro Tools! A lot of you are not taking the lab sessions seriously. Remember, you need to read the Pro Tools textbook and attached extra chapters (they are all in the Google docs folder aptly named. The textbook is NOT the A-Z tutorial -- that is just additional reference materials. As you progress thru the textbook, keep written notes (your cheat sheet), and then later (in class) you should skim through those chapters and try all the commands in your Pro Tools practice session (Getting Fam w ProTools)..

Make sure you continually back-up your work in progress. Use the Save AS command to create archived versions of you work. At the end of the day (or when you leave your station on breaks), do a full Save Copy In backup of your session and include Audio Files.

On Thursday, we will finish up with Elements of the Soundtrack; and talk about recording directly into Pro Tools.
