Today's smoke: skinless sliced chicken breasts w a mild coat of rub and a thin coat of BBQ sauce. Also, a package of turkey bacon. (not for the same meal, but just to keep in the fridge for salad toppers or to go with a breakfast). Smoked turkey bacon does not taste like pork bacon, but it does gain a lot of flavor from smoking -- and is a lot healthier. Smoker temp at 250.
Yes, the turkey bacon was uncured (Costco). Lower sodium and no nitrates.
