Brioche French Toast.
Yesterday's breakfast with my wife. Began with a couple of eggs, a cup-ish of milk, some apple juice. Whisked it until smooth. Added cinnamon, nutmeg, some Vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Soaked the brioche sliced bread for 20-30 seconds or so. Onto the griddle of our gas stove, 275 degrees. Added some sliced chicken sausage, left over from Vince's sausage smoke (posted previously).
For a crunchier "country" French toast, roll the soaked slices in a bed of rice crispies or granola before cooking.
