This year, Fred Ginsburg CAS will once again be presenting informative workshops about location sound recording for film/video during the 2011 annual conference of the National Association of Broadcasters. This year's topic will be about the current use of multi-track recording.
Workshops will be presented throughout each of the 4 days of NAB: Monday, April 11 thru Thursday, April 14. There is no charge to attend. Workshops and demonstrations will take place in the main exhibits hall, at the Audio Technica booth.
In addition, Dr. Ginsburg will also conduct a special workshop on Monday morning for the Broadcast Education Association, meeting next door in the Hilton Convention Center.
The primary workshop will examine and discuss the use of multi-track recording techniques utilizing 8-12 channels of audio for location dialogue recording. In addition to demonstrating equipment such as the Tascam HS-P82 10-channel portable recorder and the Presonus 16.4.2. digital mixing console, Fred Ginsburg CAS PhD MBKS will also discuss microphone selection and application.
Other workshops taking place at the Audio Technica booth during each day of the exhibits include audio for DSLR production, and how to rig lavalier mics.
